Head of Flight Trials
Ray joined 2Excel in 2017 following a career in the RAF as a Fighter Controller.
He flew in the E-3D AWACS aircraft for many years, including four years on exchange with the USAF specialising in EW, radar, data links and ESM operations. He also flew with the USAF on the Rivet Joint and Joint STARS aircraft.
He is a graduate of the RAF AeroSystems Course where he gained an MSc in AeroSystems and he also has an MBA.
He was appointed Head of Flight Trials in early 2023 working closely with other Capability Departments to deliver flight trial solutions for military and commercial customers.
