Based at Lasham Airfield in north Hampshire, it is focused on Boeing and Airbus narrow-bodied aircraft, serving the growing maintenance needs of the commercial airline industry alongside providing critical engineering expertise to 2Excel.
Besides underpinning 2Excel Aviation’s operations with base maintenance support for the company’s fleet of PA-31s, King Airs and Boeing 727s, 737s and 757, 2Excel Engineering supports major commercial airlines, operators, and owners, leasing companies and governments.
With capacity for 60 deep maintenance checks each year, the site has four narrow-bodied aircraft hangars, two more hangars for commuter category aircraft, extensive back-shops, an approved and in-house Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) team, a wide range of tooling, test, and calibration equipment and, parking for up to 30 aircraft.
