Going the extra mile: HR Team member supports Aerobility at London Marathon

We are incredibly proud of Jess Mackenzie from our HR team, who successfully completed the London Marathon – her first marathon – on Sunday 26th April in support of our long‑standing charity partner, Aerobility, raising in excess of £1,600 to date.

Reflecting on the experience, Jess said: “It was an incredible day. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so nervous in the days leading up to something like this, but the moment I crossed the start line, all of that disappeared. The atmosphere was unbelievable, and the support was outstanding — from the crowds lining the route to everyone who came out specifically to cheer me on.

“I felt strong through the first half of the race, and while miles 20 onwards definitely tested me, I kept pushing forward. Seeing Big Ben and turning the corner towards The Mall is a feeling I’ll never forget — nothing compares to crossing that finish line.”

By taking on this significant personal challenge, Jess has raised vital funds for Aerobility, helping the charity continue its mission to make the magic of flight accessible to people with disabilities.

Congratulations to Jess on a phenomenal achievement, demonstrating determination, resilience and commitment in support of a truly inspiring cause.
