It does this by taking ideas from concept, through design and testing to manufacturing, certification and evaluation, with an agile and transparent approach to project management, the team has total control over the various steps of the development.
2Excel has been an expert in this field for over a decade and has been recognised as a leader. This has been proven by the group’s capability to develop many one-of-a-kind design solutions within the aerospace industry to completely transform aircraft and make them suitable for complex missions.
And, with one of the broadest scopes of approval for design and certification in Europe, Cap Dev has certified a number of innovative approaches to create aircraft level installations, from Boeing 727 spray systems to King Air reconnaissance platforms.
It has flight test and evaluation capabilities leveraging the expertise of operational test and evaluation pilots, engineers and aircrew.
We’re scaling to deliver ‘Excalibur’, the Boeing 757 flight test aircraft for Team Tempest, which will demonstrate the vanguard of the UK’s military technology for the next 15 years. And we are investing tens of millions of pounds to produce reconnaissance King Air modifications for a more modern and resilient fleet.
