2Excel Aviation achieves environmental accreditation
Innovative aviation and aerospace company 2Excel Aviation has achieved the International Organisation for Standards (ISO) 14001:2015 Certification for its Environmental Management System (EMS).
ISO 14001 is a global standard setting out benchmark criteria for an EMS, providing a framework for measuring and improving organisations’ environmental impact and climate risks, as well as providing a structured path to mitigate them and fulfilling compliance obligations. Recognising the effect aviation can have on the environment, achieving this standard demonstrates 2Excel’s commitment to its Sustainability Policy which includes reducing its environmental impact across its operations.
British Standards Institution (BSI) subjected 2Excel’s EMS to its rigorous auditing process and the certification recognises the Company’s adherence to strong environmental management practices, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement and Sustainability Manager at 2Excel, Stacie Scullion said:
“Achieving this globally recognised standard for an Environmental Management System is a pivotal achievement and we are thrilled to have attained this significant milestone. Environmental management is the cornerstone of our approach towards mitigating adverse impacts our activities may have on the environment or in our local communities.
