Leading Edge, an EASA approved Design Organisation (DOA), Production Organisation (POA) and Maintenance Organisation (MOA), provides design, production and installation services to support the other business units within the group and external organisations.

2Excel have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Administrator/ Planning Technician to join our Production Organisation (POA) based at Doncaster Airport. You will carry out administrative tasks under the supervision and guidance of a Lead Production Engineer/Head of Production, using software applicable to the task. You will also have the opportunity to feedback to the Head of Production on suggested improvements, efficiencies and ways to enhance the way in which we work.

We are looking for candidates who are willing to learn and keen to progress within a Production Organisation environment. This role is an excellent opportunity for somebody who has a methodical mind set with a passion for electrical or mechanical engineering in an aviation environment. The successful applicant will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

• Qualifications/experience in an electrical or mechanical engineering back ground
• Demonstrate an understanding of technical drawings
• First rate computer skills with a good understanding of Word and Excel
• Work Experience in a POA would be a significant advantage
• A ‘can do’ flexible attitude
• An excellent communicator, who can interconnect effectively and professionally both verbally and electronically with colleagues, customers and subcontractors.
• Team player with a willingness to assist others.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure
• In addition, applicants must be able to demonstrate the Right to Work in the UK
