MET Fleet Manager

Full-time, permanent Monday to Friday

We are seeking a full time MET Fleet Manager to join its friendly Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). The position is based at Doncaster Airport, however, travel to other 2Excel and/or supplier sites may be required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Development and review of fleet Maintenance Programmes.
• Project management of modifications, design changes and repairs.
• Incorporation of operational and maintenance procedures arising from approved modifications.
• Managing all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on fleet aircraft, maximising operational availability.
• Monitoring component strip reports, reliability reports and repetitive defects.
• Review, assess and process incoming mandatory and non-mandatory service information and directives, performing cost benefit analysis when required.
• Assisting with root cause analysis and rectification for compliance deficiencies and occurrences as and when they arise.

The successful applicant will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

• Demonstrable experience in aviation/aircraft engineering within maintenance and/or airworthiness disciplines.
• Strong IT skills, including demonstrable ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Scanning applications and Printers etc.
• Ability to work as part of a team and without direct supervision.
• Ability to maintain attention to detail in a busy environment.
• A proactive, can-do attitude.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations such as EASA Part M and Part 145 is desirable.

Experience working within a CAMO environment and project managing modification programmes would be advantageous.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the Right to Work in the UK and hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
