 The Team
2Excel needs both its pilots and support team to help run its precision displays and hospitality. Pre-summer season is extremely busy confirming bookings for events both home and away. During the season getting the aircraft to every display involves specific route planning with accurate timings and fuel and of course the aircraft need to be up to date on their services. Displays also involve careful planning to include a ground support team to bring sufficient Ondina (our eco-friendly smoke), oil, commentator, and sometimes even a change of clothes for the pilots!
During a typical week our hospitality events take place and, as they are all bespoke, a number of meetings would have already taken place with the client to plan the events. With the ability to host from 4-1000 people 2Excel will be busy putting the finishing touches to the exquisite cuisine, accommodation and business needs of our clients. On top of this the hospitality team might have organised Tiger Moths, Harrier flypasts, Air Combat Simulators, Wing-walkers, helicopters or even a private jet to an airfield of choice.
